Time flies by ...

I have been enjoying life in Japan! I talk to Daddy sometimes on Skype but I'm too shy to say much. My Japanese is getting better and better, but because I don't say much to Daddy, he doesn't realize it. He'll get a big surprise when I go back to NZ!!

I especially like it here because I am spoilt every day with Ojii-chan, Obaa-chan, and Akemi-chan all giving me their attention whenever they are around. Below are some photos of my time here.

In the spring, the sakura (cherry blossom) flowers open and everyone goes to look at them (and some people, drink sake and sing old Japanese songs). This festival time is called Hanami. We went to see the trees near the apartment building. Yes I know I look like a boy but note the pink sweater with heart on it!!! I am a girl!
