We camped again at Otaki last night. I have started getting used to the whole sleeping in a tent thing. After having a BBQ lunch, we headed for home. On the way, I fell asleep so Mummy and Daddy stopped in Raumati to have a rest and take some photos. Once I woke up I was very annoyed that I had not been awake to prevent them from having a nice rest in Raumati.

Camping at Otaki Beach

We are now up at Otaki Beach, having camped here (at the camping grounds) last night. Daddy and I went for a swim in the ocean!!! I was apprehensive at first, but slowly got used to getting hit by the waves and now find it exciting to get carried by Daddy as deep as he dares to go!!

Christmas Day

Well its Christmas Day!! We are just having a quiet day at home, having a summer luncheon for our Christmas dinner. Going camping soon!!

Christmas Lights

We went to look at the Christmas lights up Woodman Drive (a rich new area near Linden) with Nga and Thang.
I really liked going to look at the lights!! Unfortunately next year we probably can't go with Nga and Thang because it sounds like Nga is going back to Vietnam soon. :-(

The Tent

We are planning on going camping over Christmas, so we bought a tent. Daddy put it up in the backyard so we can see what it looks like.
Then Mummy and I got into it and played around a bit, testing it out to see what it would be like to sleep in it.

Oriental Bay

Today was a nice sunny day and Daddy and I went for a big long walk all around Oriental Bay. I was very awed by the "big water".
Later we went to a cafe on Oriental Parade for lunch and a cool refreshing drink.

RNZFB Christmas Party

There was another Christmas party today!! Santa was there and I was a bit more scared of him this time ... somehow his beard looked different ... it had a more ... artificial quality to it. Anyway, Daddy took me to say hello to him, and he gave me ......
ANOTHER PRESENT!!

Christmas in the Park

There were Christmas Carols in the park in Porirua so we went along to listen. The carols were a bit disappointing ... it seemed to be more contemporary music that carols ... but still we enjoyed it, and I especially enjoyed eating the chippies, so much that I couildn't concentrate on posing for the camera.
Later I agreed to pose for this photo. The black thing I am holding is the doggy I got from Nga.

Christmas Parade

Today was the Christmas Parade in Tawa, so we went along to watch Santa go by in his sleigh. I thought it was funny that his sleigh was being pulled by a tractor instead of reindeer but quickly forgot about it when some of his elves (who were not as small as I thought they would be) walked past and handed me some candy!!
