Some new tricks

I think I have finally worked out this turning door handle thing. I have figured out that if I twist the door handle in a clockwise direction, I can open the door!! This will enable me to get into the bathroom, and out the front door, if the top lock is unlocked. This seems to worry daddy, but not as much as the other thing I have started to do: taking flying leaps off the couch!! Its lots of fun to watch mummy and daddy wince everytime I do it. :-)

We went to Wellington for a big walk around, and then we met Nga-chan for a drink and cake!!

Running with a toothbrush is bad

Daddy got angry with me tonight because I ran down the hall with my toothbrush in my mouth. I have done it before but he didn't get as angry as he did this time. He explained that if I do that and fall over I will get badly hurt and will have to go to the hospital (where they will put the thermometer up my bottom etc etc again). Well, I agreed not to do it anymore and this pleased mummy and daddy, so I will try to remember not to.

Back in NZ!!

Well I'm back in New Zealand finally. So I'm dressing the part, gumboots and all. It was a pretty good trip back. Daddy came and met us at the airport in Auckland. Since I hadn't seen him for a long time, I was quite shy and didn't want to talk to him for about half a day. I've realized that people here talk differently from people in Japan, so I have to start this talking thing again from scratch, in English.
