Anzac day

Today Mummy got me dressed in these cute clothes. Then daddy gave me some milk and then put me in this position called "sitting". It wasn't very comfortable for me because most of the muscles in my torso are not working yet. So about 2 seconds after the photo was taken, my stomach decided to protest at being squashed by ejecting the previously drank milk through my mouth and on to my clothes.

Later, we went to a hall where there were lots of other people, many also wearing good clothes. There was a loud trumpeting and then some singing and speeches. There was more trumpeting and some older people seemed sad. I hope I won't be sad like them when I get old. After that we went upstairs and everyone (except me! :-< ) put food in their mouths and after chopping it up with their "teeth", they swallowed it. I don't understand why they don't just drink from bottles like I do. When they *did* drink, they drank from glass cups full of brown bubbly stuff with white froth on the top. They seemed happier after that.

The park

Mummy, daddy, and Grandma all seem tired today. I don't know why, I'm not causing them any trouble am I?
Mummy and daddy took me out from home because "the sun" was out and "the sky" was "blue". We went to "the park" where I saw lots of "green grass" and some funny little things saying "quack". Mummy and daddy seemed happy and made funny sounds called "laughing" when I did this thing with my tongue.

My name!

Mummy and daddy have finally chosen a name for me - Jennifer. They also chose Himawari for my middle name which means sunflower. I'm really happy with those names, and plan to grow tall like a sunflower.
