I met a nice family today - Alan, Fiona, and Aidan. Aidan who is 6 and I are going to be good friends I hope.

Getting what I want

It seems that if I cry loudly I get things sooner. This will be useful information for the future.

A new place

I'm not in the big white place anymore. I went in a strange humming thing called a "car" controlled by a funny man who wouldn't stop talking. When I got out I was at a new place. I think I'll call it "home".

Grandma

I have noticed someone new here. A lady with curly hair. I will call her Grandma.

Mummy and daddy

I'm 1 day old and doing well - feel much better now that I don't have that tube up my nose. In my dreams (or am I awake?) I keep hearing two voices - one higher pitched than the other. Sometimes I manage to open my eyes for a few seconds. I see a woman with long black hair who uses the higher voice, and a funny man who uses the deeper voice. I have decided to call the woman mummy and the funny man daddy.

Hello world!

I was born today, at about 12:30pm, at Wellington Hospital, Wellington, New Zealand. I was weighed and was recorded as being 2.6 kgs. I came about a month earlier than expected. I'm very sleepy, and don't feel like opening my eyes yet.

I am in a special room with other tiny babies. I am not very happy about having this tube jammed up my nose.
